Online metronome
Tap a tempo or type one. Set the accents to hear where the bar starts — and use the two trainers below, which are the reason to practise with this rather than a plain click.
Click a light to change how hard that beat is played.

An odd metre is an accent pattern: set 7 beats, then accent 1, 4 and 6 for 3+2+2.
Training
The lights carry on through the silence, so you can see whether you are still with it when the click returns.
Steps rather than glides, and stops at the target — a tempo that crept continuously would never be one you were actually practising at.
What it does
Set a tempo from 20 to 300 BPM by typing it, turning the drum or tapping it. Choose the beats in a bar and the subdivision, and press a beat light to change how hard that beat is played.
Two trainers make it more than a click: the gap trainer drops the click for a few bars while the lights keep counting, so you find out whether you held the time; the speed trainer raises the tempo every few bars up to a target.
Your settings are kept in this browser, so it opens the way you left it.
